A great recipe for special occasions
Ingredients
- 100g of Marie biscuit
- 50g of melted butter
- 2 packets of calypso biscuit
- 395ml cans of condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 gems
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 300ml fresh cream
- 150g bittersweet chocolate
- 100g can of sour cream
Directions
In a processor, mash the Marie biscuit until it turns into a flour. Add the melted butter and mix.
With the mixture, cover the bottom of a removable bottom pan, lined with buttered paper.
Place the biscuits around the shape around the calypso with the chocolate part out. Take the refrigerator while filling.
In a saucepan, add condensed milk, milk and egg yolks. Cook over low heat until thickened. Turn off the heat and add the vanilla essence.
Whip the fresh cream into and mix it with the condensed cream.
Arrange on the form and return to refrigerator to firm.
Warm the cream and arrange over the chopped chocolate, stir until the chocolate melts completely.
Lay over the pie before serving.
